How long does it take to cook chicken on Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken?

In a rotisserie, it takes about 4hrs but for more enhanced flavor keep it for 8 hrs, in a grill about 4-5 hrs. Time varies as you change the way of cooking.

How can I make Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken better?

I have the best and simplest way to make your rotisserie chicken better. If you use tender herbs like chives or dill, sprinkle them just before serving to enhance the flavor.

And if you are switching for harder herbs like rosemary or thyme, you can add them to the pot, while you crisp up the skin of the chicken.

Can I make whole chicken in slow cooker?

Y-E-S, you can do that, I mean a whole chicken goes p-e-r-f-e-c-t in the slow cooker. Just put the whole chicken in the cooker and rub spices and done.

What can I serve with Crockpot Rotisserie chicken?

If you like you can choose to serve this with some vegetables or a salad it’s completely up to you.

Tips for a perfect and tasty Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken Recipe:

  • Cook for 8 hrs, if you want an amazing flavor because the slower you cook, the better the flavors get infused in that chicken, and in the end, it will be super-delicious.
  • Use chives or dill when you are serving and use hard herbs like rosemary or thyme when you are cooking chicken.
  • Pat dry the chicken well.
  • Make sure the chicken is not touching the top of the lid, if it does that means your chicken is bigger.
  • Never use frozen chicken.
  • Make sure to clean the chicken well, as innards won’t taste great if they are left somehow.

Products and ingredients I have used are mentioned below:

  • Slow cooker: Digital Countdown Timer, cook from 30 minutes up to 20 hours.
  • Crockpot: An all-in-one appliance that lets you, pressure cook, sterilize, slow cook, brown/sear, sauté, boil, simmer, and steam.
  • Mixing bowl: Perfect for mixing, serving, and storage purpose.
  • Extra virgin olive oil: Perfect for salads, dressing, and marinades.

Before moving to the chicken, I’ll show you how to make Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken Marinade. This marinade recipe is a B-O-N-U-S for you all.

Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken Marinade:

We’re gonna be making a Rotisserie Chicken Marinade, this marinade I use quite frequently. This makes a really yummy homestyle Rotisserie Chicken and
it’s kind of a variety of dry ingredients.

I’ve got garlic powder I have some Creole seasoning, some paprika some poultry seasoning, salt, some dried onions, rosemary. Now what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna mix this in the chopper.

So I’m gonna add the liquid ingredients. First I’m gonna put 1/4 a cup of extra virgin olive oil, some Italian organic dressing, 1/8 of a cup of balsamic vinegar, 1/4 of a cup of lemon juice.

So then add our seasonings from our bowls, the onions, the poultry seasoning, the rosemary, the garlic powder, and all that. Give it a couple of pulses and there you go.

You can also add black pepper. I don’t add black pepper till the very end probably about 30 minutes before the chicken is done.

So we are done with our marinade.

Now it’s time to go for our mission: Crock-Pot Rotisserie Chicken Recipe.

I’m gonna start this hot by mixing up our herbs and spices.

So into a bowl, add 2 tsp of paprika followed by 2 tsp of salt, a teaspoon of onion powder, a teaspoon of garlic powder, a teaspoon of thyme, and 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper and just give that just a very quick mix just to combine everything.

So we’re going to use our crock-pot or slow cooker.

So we’re just going to place a rinsed chicken into our crockpot and just some
the paper towel just pat dry it, just so it’s nice and dry.

Now we’re just going to drizzle on some olive oil and with the hand just spread it around all over the top.

And then with the spice mixture that we made up just place that on top and just rub it in nicely just try to over rub it otherwise you’re going to get these larger congealed bits so we just want a perfectly even layer of spices.

Lastly, I have one brown onion that I’ve just cut into quarters, so I’ve just placed it around our chicken like so and now this just comes down to the time.

But honestly, the slower you cook it, the better they can cook well.

On high for 4 hours or and this is especially good if you want to ready for when you get home from work you can cook it on low for 8 hours and it will taste even better.

And after 8hrs remove the lid, and your kitchen will be full of that amazing flavourful and delicious magical aroma.

You can serve this Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken with vegetables or salads. I personally choose a salad with this chicken, it’s a perfect combination of light and heavy meal.

But the slow-cooked in favor of this chicken is absolutely delicious.

So especially during this holiday period if you’re looking for something easy to prepare but delicious give this Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken go because I guarantee it tastes simply delicious.
