So without any delay let’s get started.

The way this dish is cooked, like firstly slicing potatoes and then coating it with eggs and all-purpose flour and then deep-frying in extra virgin olive oil. And then cooking potatoes in gravy and that gravy is like an ocean of taste.

Now let’s take a quick look at our ingredients:

Potatoes: As you, all know potatoes are the most commonly used vegetables. So for our dish, we will be using large-sized potatoes. be sure to wash them and scrub them so that their thin skin gets scrubbed.

Eggs: Eggs are a good source of protein. So we will be using eggs to coat our potatoes before deep frying. By doing that our potatoes will remain crispy and also add flavor.

All-purpose flour: All-purpose flour will keep our potatoes crispy after deep frying.

Extra-virgin Olive oil: Extra virgin olive oil is good for health and is a rich source of Vitamin-E which helps hair growth. And it gives an amazing taste to any recipe. And that’s the reason we will be using olive oil for our recipe.

Onions: Once again most commonly used vegetables and will give a sweet caramel taste to our dish.

Garlic: garlic gives our dish a strong and warm spicy taste to our recipe.

White wine: White wine adds an amazing flavor and a rich taste to the dish.

Vegetable Broth: vegetable broth adds flavor and also it will make our gravy rich thin.

Products I have used are mentioned below:

Hope you will love my Spanish potatoes recipe.

We will be starting by rinsing two large-sized potatoes and scrubbing them to remove the light skin on potatoes. I will not be peeling off the potatoes as it gives the texture to the potatoes. But if you want you can peel them.

Once the potatoes are completely washed, pat them completely dry. Now slice the potatoes in thick slices.

In the next step crack two organic eggs into a bowl and season the eggs with sea salt and freshly crushed black peppers and whisk the eggs well.

In a separate bowl, add 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour and season it with sea salt and black pepper and give it a quick mix so that the seasoning gets evenly divided.

In the final step let’s cover our potatoes in all-purpose flour mixture and then in egg wash. And continue to cover all the slices in the same way.

Now heat the pan and add 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil. And after heating olive oil for two minutes add slices of potato in there. Do not over-crowd the pan, add potatoes in batches. After 2-3 minutes, flip the potatoes to cook the other side. And cook them until they turn nice and brown and crispy.

After a total of 5-6 minutes, our potatoes are done. Remove the potatoes from the pan and transfer it to a plate with paper towels. And continue cooking all slices in the same way. Now after deep frying, plenty of olive oil is left in the pan. Now in that pan add 1/2 finely chopped onion and 3 cloves of finely minced garlic. Mix them well so that nothing burns.

After about 3 minutes our onions are nice and translucent. Add 1 tablespoon of corn starch and 1/2 teaspoon of sweet Spanish paprika. And mix them well. When all of this is mixed well, add 1/2 cup of white wine. And add a pinch(as per taste) of sea salt and freshly crushed black peppers.

And you will end up with a thick sauce. Now add our cooked potatoes in the pan in a single layer. Now add 3 cups of vegetable broth. Do not mix now, just give a pan a light shake. And after a few minutes again give it a light shake.

And after about 25 minutes, and there is almost no broth left in the pan our potatoes are left with the amazing thick sauce. Now our dish is ready to go but if you want you can check the potatoes by piercing a toothpick in potatoes.

Garnish with some freshly chopped parsley. and yeah ready to serve.
