How to make Cheesy Hasselback Potatoes?

Let’s get started with our recipe.

Line potatoes up and use two wooden dowels and what this is going to do it’s gonna prevent you from cutting all the way through the potato.

Take your knife and make about 1/8 inch slices all along the potato starting at the center and then just repeat this cutting process with your remaining potatoes.

And what’s awesome about the size of this pan is you can do as little as one potato or up to 10 or even 12 potatoes and you’re just going to go directly into the pan itself and no foil or parchment paper needed.

Take some melted unsalted butter brush potatoes all along the tops. Be nice and generous with the melted butter and this kind of seeps then into all those cuts that you’ve made.

That nice buttery flavor a nice golden-brown crunch on top.

And before popping these into a 450F/225C oven, sprinkle a little bit of salt and pepper, and then they’re gonna bake for about 1 hour or until they’re pretty much baked all the way through.

Now for the good, stuff the cheese.

So using some thinly sliced and sharp cheddar cheese, separate each of the layers and insert one of the pieces of cheese in between each of the slices of potato.

And what’s awesome about this pan is all this cheese is gonna melt in the potatoes and even if it doesn’t melt directly in the potatoes.

Now potatoes will go back into the oven for about 3 minutes or just until that cheese is all melted.

We are looking good you got that melted sharp cheddar and now sprinkle a little bit of finely grated Parmesan on the top of the potatoes. And at last blast a little bit of green some chopped fresh chives.

And that’s all it takes for easy cheesy Hasselback potatoes. Enjoy this super Cheesy Hasselback Potatoes and especially your kids will love this recipe.
