Crockpot Apple Crisp

For the rolled oats topping

  • 1 cup Old fashioned oats
  • ¾ cup Flour
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Butter cold and diced into squares


  • 6-8 Granny Smith apples

In the crockpot

  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg


  • In a bowl, combine 1 cup of oats, 3/4 cup flour, 1/4 a cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1 stick or 1/2 a cup of cut-up cold butter. Mix all together until the butter is fully coated set this mixture offside.
  • And then you’ll want to peel 6 to 8 Granny Smith apples, once they are all peeled, cut all apples up into roughly 1/4 inch slices. 
  • Grab your crockpot and spray the bottoms and the sides and then place all of the cut-up apples into the crockpot, add a half a cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg powder. Mix all together until the apples are fully coated with the mixture.
  • And last you’ll want to add roughly 1/4 cup of rolled oats over the top of the apple mixture, so that’s it that’s the Crockpot Apple Crisp Recipe.
  • Cook for 3 hours on high and let it sit for 30 minutes. Serve warm with Vanilla Bean Ice-cream or Whipped cream. if desired.


  • Peel off the apples with the help of a potato peeler, it's very easy and quick.
  • You can make both crispy and soft apple crisp by cooking it at different times.
